Master Grocers Australia delivers the Responsible Service of Alcohol training programme under approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor (RGL) (Liquor Control Act 1988, Section 103A).Sections 33, 35B and 103A of the Liquor Control Act 1988 ("the Act") impose mandatory training requirements on licensees, approved managers, supervisory staff and bar staff in relation to the responsible service of alcohol.

Our training provides licensees, managers and staff with important skills and knowledge about the State's liquor laws; alcohol and the effects of excessive alcohol intake; standard drink measures; options to assist customers to drink within appropriate limits; how to refuse service to an intoxicated patron; how to deal with difficult patrons and conflict situations and the responsible sale of packaged liquor.
