Master Grocers Australia has been in operation since 1898 and became a corporation on 19th October 1911. Master Grocers Australia is a member’s association helping independent supermarkets and liquor stores including IGA, FoodWorks & SPAR.

In addition to being a member association MGA is also a nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO), focused on delivering training programs specific to the needs of independent food and liquor retailers. Our training team is made up of a dynamic group of individuals with extensive knowledge and expertise in the retail industry who take pride in their ability to ensure that the services offered meets the individual and specialised needs of our clients.

The delivery format of our courses includes online, self-paced learning options and face-to-face with some programs available in-store (conditions apply). MGA RTO visits stores and members right across Australia delivering training and assessment in the workplace where it is needed most.
